The Ruderman Family Foundation believes that inclusion of all people is essential to a fair and flourishing community. As part of this mission, the foundation, in partnership with the Jewish Week Media Group, is accepting nominations for its 2016 Ruderman Best in Business Award.
Now in its second year, the annual award recognizes businesses with a demonstrated a history of employing people with disabilities, training and supporting those employees, and developing innovative approaches to maximizing their abilities. In 2016, eighteen businesses from the United States and Canada will be recognized with an award, with the winners to be featured in a special supplement in the print and online edition of Jewish Week to be published on September 15, 2016.
Last year’s winners include Wegmens Food Market in Rochester, New York; Rising Tide Car Wash in Parkland, Florida; ULTRA Testing LLC in New York City; and [words] Bookstore in Maplewood, New Jersey.
